Hello, and welcome to my slice of the digital world. I work full time and recently started blogging to distract myself from the craziness of my job and the realities of 2020. I live in North Texas / DFW region with my wife and kids. My favorite things in life are my family, adventures, dogs, and being prepared. Prepared for what, I am uncertain. I take comfort in the fact my family can survive for a few days without too much of a life style change. 

I believe in transparency. I am not a writer by trade, there will be many spelling and grammatical errors in my post. I am also not a photographer. While the opinions expressed on my blog are what I believe, I encourage you to do your own research and make your own opinions. I do, however, enjoy reading people’s opinions even when they contradict mine; so, if you feel like sharing feel free to contact me for a constructive discussion.

My vision for this blog is to share the adventures of my family, my thoughts on adventure and preparedness, and other lifestyle topics. I will utilize this blog to both document and share our travel adventures; and to discuss a variety of lifestyle topics with a focus on preparedness.

The reason I created this blog was to relieve the stress of day to day life. To have something to spend time on that would relax me. I also desire to inspire people to travel and experience the world and different cultures. Also, hopefully, I can inspire people to be prepared for catastrophic events which may disrupt our supply lines
